Prepared by the Intercontinental Motors Market Insights Team. Vehicle-specific figures should be reviewed by the Intercontinental Motors valuation team before publication.
What this study covers
This depreciation study by Intercontinental Motors reviews 850 raw in-house records, representing 820 unique observations after exact deduplication. The detailed segment articles use 37 selected model-and-variant observations with Malaysian launch or list-price references reported by paultan.org.
The study is designed to help Malaysian buyers understand how much value selected cars have lost and to help owners think more clearly about direct sale, trade-in and consignment. It is not a national market census and it does not apply a monetary mileage or condition adjustment.
